How a call moves through OnCrew

The agent captures the call, classifies the urgency, and sends a clean handoff to the contact you chose at setup. The live callback is still yours.

  1. Caller reaches the AI agent

    The agent answers in your business voice, identifies itself as an AI assistant on request, and runs the trade-aware intake script we configured during setup.

  2. Trade-aware triage

    The agent separates true emergencies (burst pipe, no heat, sparking outlet, active roof leak) from routine inquiries using the rules you approved.

  3. Owner alert sent

    If the call is urgent, OnCrew sends an SMS or email alert to the on-call contact you listed at setup, with caller name, callback number, and the situation summary.

  4. Transcript saved to dashboard

    Every captured call is logged with audio, full transcript, AI summary, and emergency tag. You review them from your account whenever you want.

  5. You make the follow-up call

The boring true stuff, said plainly.

OnCrew is a launch-stage product. We rely on Stripe for payments, password-protected dashboards for access control, and setup-confirmed alert destinations for owner handoffs. We do not claim SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI DSS, or ISO 27001 because those programs are not in place yet.

Trial signups complete checkout on Stripe. Your card number is collected by Stripe, not OnCrew. We see the trial status and the last four digits, nothing more.

Access-controlled dashboard

Your transcripts, recordings, and call log live behind a password-protected account. Only signed-in account users see your call history.

Setup-confirmed handoffs

OnCrew only sends alerts to the SMS numbers and email addresses you list during guided setup. You can update or remove them at any time.

Transparent transcript history

Every call is recorded and transcribed so you have an auditable record of what the AI said and what the caller said. Nothing is hidden behind a black box.

What we are not claiming

  • OnCrew is in active pilot rollout with launch-stage contractors. We are not publishing customer logos, review counts, or revenue claims until the customer base supports it.
  • We do not claim SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI DSS, or ISO 27001. Stripe handles cardholder data on our behalf. Treat OnCrew accordingly until those programs are completed.
  • The AI captures and routes calls. Your team makes the live callback and confirms the appointment. OnCrew is not a dispatch desk and does not guarantee response times.

Questions buyers ask before they sign up.

Does OnCrew store my customers credit card numbers?
No. All trial and subscription checkout runs on Stripe. Stripe holds the card data. OnCrew receives subscription status and the last four digits so you can identify the card on file. We do not collect card numbers from your callers either.
What does OnCrew connect to today?
Out of the box, OnCrew answers your forwarded line, sends urgent alerts by SMS and email to the contact you set up, and saves a transcript, recording, and AI summary in your dashboard. During guided setup we walk through your existing CRM, calendar, or texting workflow and discuss the cleanest place to land call summaries. We confirm what fits during setup rather than promising native integrations on day one.
Do you claim SOC 2, HIPAA, or PCI compliance?
No. Those certifications take time and we do not advertise them until they are real. Today we rely on Stripe-hosted checkout, password-protected dashboard access, and the alert destinations you confirmed during setup. If your business requires a specific compliance program, call us and we will tell you honestly where OnCrew stands.
Does OnCrew send a technician to the caller?
No. OnCrew is a call answering and triage product. The AI captures the call, separates emergencies from routine inquiries, and alerts your on-call contact. Your team makes the live callback and decides what to do next. We do not promise the caller that a tech is on the way and we do not run a dispatch desk on your behalf.
How is OnCrew different from a generic answering service?
Generic answering services are built for law firms, dentists, and everyone else. OnCrew is built for home service contractors. The triage script knows the difference between HVAC and roofing, owner alerts go straight to your phone instead of through a call center queue, and pricing is per call instead of per minute so an emergency caller does not run up your bill while waiting.
Can I see how OnCrew handled a specific call?
Yes. Every captured call has a transcript, audio recording, AI summary, and urgency tag in your dashboard. You can review any call, listen to the audio, and confirm the agent followed the script you approved.
What happens if I want to cancel?
Cancel from your dashboard in one click before the trial ends and you are not charged. After the trial, OnCrew is month to month. Cancel anytime and you keep your call history through the end of your billing period.
