What each shop you sign is worth

25% of each shop's subscription payments for its first 12 months, paid after the payment clears. A shop starts paying when its 14-day free trial ends, at the prices on our pricing page.

Starter plan ($49/mo, 100 calls included): $12.25/mo, up to $147 per shop
Pro plan ($149/mo, 400 calls included): $37.25/mo, up to $447 per shop
Multi-Truck plan ($349/mo, 1,000 calls included): $87.25/mo, up to $1,047 per shop
Commission window: First 12 months of each shop's subscription
Payout schedule: Monthly, after each shop's payment clears
Payout methods: PayPal, Zelle, or ACH ($25 minimum, balances roll over)
Example: 10 shops on Pro that stay 12 months pay you $4,470 over that year

The work

Sign them up, then get them live

Shops with an office line keep OnCrew once calls are forwarding. The step that gets skipped is setup, so that is half the job.

Call shop offices

You get a list of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing and garage door shops with office lines in the states you pick, none of which we have contacted. You call them during their business hours.

Rules

Rules we hold every rep to

Give your own name and say you're calling for OnCrew. Never claim to be the founder or an OnCrew employee.

Call only the business office lines on your list, dialed by hand, between 8 AM and 6 PM in the shop's time zone.

No autodialers, voicemail drops, texts nobody asked for, email blasts, or ads that use the OnCrew name. Send the trial link only when the person asks for it on the call.

Anyone who says stop is never contacted again. Tell us the same day and they go on our do-not-contact list.

Say only what our pricing and features pages say. No promises about jobs, revenue, or results.

Never call a shop that is already an OnCrew customer or in a trial. Your list leaves them out.

You are an independent contractor: your hours, your phone, your way of working, inside these rules. Expenses are not reimbursed.

A rep who breaks a rule stops calling for us. Commission already earned on paying shops is still paid.

How it works

From application to first payout

1. Apply by email

Send your name, your state, your sales or trades background, the hours you can call, and what you would say when an office manager says "we already have an answering service."

2. We reply in 2 business days

We read every application. If it's a fit, you get the rules in writing to agree to by reply.

3. Get your kit

Your own link (oncrew.ai/ref/yourcode), a list of 200 shops in your states, the setup steps for each phone system, and a simple weekly call log.

4. Get paid monthly

Every shop that starts its trial from your link is tagged to you at checkout. Once it pays, you earn 25% of each payment for 12 months.

FAQ

Questions reps ask

Is this a job?

No. It is an independent contractor arrangement paid by commission only. There is no salary, no hourly pay, and no quota. You set your own hours and you are free to work with other companies.

How do shops get credited to me?

Through your link. When a shop starts its trial from oncrew.ai/ref/yourcode, the code is saved on its subscription at checkout. If a shop you called signs up without your link, email us within 14 days of its signup and we credit it to you when your call log shows the call.

When and how do I get paid?

Monthly, after each shop's payment clears, by PayPal, Zelle, or ACH. The minimum payout is $25 and smaller balances roll over. We need a W-9 before your first payout and send a 1099 when the law requires one.

What if a shop cancels or gets a refund?

You earn on money a shop actually paid. If a shop cancels, commission stops with its payments. Refunds and chargebacks come off future payouts.

What does a shop pay?

Starter is $49 a month with 100 calls included, Pro is $149 with 400, and Multi-Truck is $349 with 1,000. Extra calls are $0.99 each. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial with no credit card needed to start, and shops can cancel anytime.

Do I need to know phone systems?

No. Every shop gets a setup page with the steps for its phone service, from carrier codes to the settings in RingCentral, Nextiva, Spectrum, Comcast Business, 8x8 and others. You go through it with the office and stay on the line until the test call passes.
